Narrating the loss ordeal of the association on Friday in Abuja, Mr Sunday Onallo Akapa, the president of the association noted that the average loss of the poultry industry is in excess of over 30 billion naira.
He further said eggs being a daily produce by poultry farmers since the first week of February 2023 till date have never been overtaken by 20% because of the near absence and lack of the naira notes to buy basic food items and other necessary proteins like eggs and chickens,” the PAN president said
He therefore call on the federal government to help them create markets for their goods .
